Rachel Sweet's 1978 Stiff Records album, Fool Around (from which "B-A-B-Y" is taken), finally got its much overdue reissue treatment a few years ago, but has long been a favorite of mine since I found a slightly scratched copy of the original in a neighborhood record store about a decade ago.
Sweet only released a couple more albums before settling in to a career in film music, notably recording the title track to John Waters's Hairspray, but "B-A-B-Y" is a nice representation of the fun side of new wave.
