I don't read many fashion and beauty blogs. Either the products and clothing featured is out of my price range, or they subscribe to certain set of rules dictating how women should dress. I've found a handful of ones that push the boundaries of is fashionable, and a few makeup blogs that have found drugstore alternatives to some high-end products.

Autostraddle's Fashion Guides
I like both of these because because let's face it: almost all fashion sites are pretty heteronormative, and the general assumption is that if you're a woman, you can't be fashionable if you don't dress like one. Here are two that prove that trope wrong.

Temptalia's Dupe List
Most, but not all, of the products listed are drugstore dupes for department store products, but it's a good start.

I grew up with my mom's Color Me Beautiful books, and was always frustrated that I didn't fit nicely into one of the four "seasons." Christine uses the Sci/Art system which works with how your skin reacts to color, rather than fitting you into a neat little box based on hair and eye color. I know color analysis isn't everyone's cup of tea, but the original systems basically lumped everyone with dark hair and eyes, and most women of color, into the "winter" category, which is pretty biased. This is a big improvement.
