I improved things and at the same time made them more complicated

I'm NaNo cheating and re-writing the story I wrote last November. I've gotten a head start on a project that should be much longer than the 50,000 words required to "win" NaNo, but until yesterday I was still unhappy with it, primarily one character who, no matter what challenges I threw his way, came off boring and one-dimensional. So I started writing part of the story from his POV and boom -- I actually like this character now. The only problem is now I'm writing a multi-POV story, which never go well for me.
