Internal Editor

I'm trying to put a face on my internal editor -- the person living inside a writer's head that says "you're wrong, that's awful, it will never work," or any of the myriad reason why someone shouldn't be writing. Mine is a combination of the born-again christian woman at every workshop I've ever taken who's offended by the sexiness in books nowadays, the social justice blogger preaching diversity, but warning against further marginalization, and this women I know who just doesn't like me very much for reasons I still can't fathom nearly a half-decade later. Yeah. So who's yours?
