Camp NaNo

Camp NaNoWriMo starts in April. It's basically the same deal as November's NaNo except you're free to set your own word goal, which is nice is you want a more leisurely or a more competitive pace. I'm going to flesh out a short story rather than start an entirely new story. I picked one that's a little too close to another short story I wrote, but has better "novel potential." I haven't done this before, so the results may be disastrous, but I'm up for that. My problem is the same one I have with a lot of my writing -- it straddles that liminal space between YA and not YA. A little too advanced for the teen set, but the characters are still teenagers. I know I'm writing the stories I wish I had when I was a teen, but I don't know how marketable this is, and frankly, I don't even want to think about that right now.
