Camp NaNoWriMo: Week One

I'm on schedule, more or less, but at the last minute I decided to try a different tact and not exactly "pants" it, but let the story flow non-linearly. Given that most of it takes place inside the protagonist's head, having it not so organized fine, and at least it lets me write as the mood strikes rather than dogmatically follow an outline. (Which I did draft -- didn't I? I... think I misplaced it.)
