I do understand where he's coming from. Those words do exist in the drag community, they can be used against drag queens and other gender nonconforming people who aren't trans, but overwhelmingly, they're used as slurs against trans women. And if someone is saying, "look, that word is damaging," it shouldn't be that hard to remove it from your (let's face it, pretty damn mainstream) television show at least.
