I found two articles detailing the problems visual thinkers have with writing. I relate to a lot of this, especially the struggle with sequencing, but I have a pretty large vocabulary and can call up words quickly, which is a big help. My writing is still going to be pretty noun-heavy no matter what technique/hatchet I apply to it.
For my current WIP, I just writing linearly altogether. I've experimented with this before, but only with short stories, never with a longer piece of fiction. It's not really verse, but it's not really prose either -- sort of the bastard child of Burroughs and Ann Carson (in my dreams).
