Shift

I started mid-draft to write with a different voice, or rather, in a different style. I'm primarily a visual thinker, so translating the pictures I see in my head into words is somewhat of a daunting task (but probably why I'm drawn to it), and writing in a conventional style -- action leading to action leading to action -- runs counter to that. So I stopped. And it's much more... dynamic. Now I have a bigger task of reworking the rest of the draft to match.
