Camp NaNo Day One

This isn't a proper NaNo for me, given that I am rewriting something that, frankly, had gone too long without editing, than writing something new. I set my word goal to 25,000 instead of the usual 50, mostly because having a not-so-daunting task ahead of me is a better motivator than knowing I need to write 2k a day, quality be damned.
