Camp NaNo: Week Two

My goal was to add 20,000 words to the 40-ish thousand I'd already written and begin something resembling an editing process (my Achilles' heel). Part of the problem is that I'm not currently taking any classes or workshops, and don't have anyone really to bounce ideas off of. (Read: I have no one to tell me "no,") Writers are terrible judges of their own work. Secondly, editing is fucking hard work, It's not fun. It's not really "part of the creative process." It's like having just built a house and realizing you have to tear it down and start all over again because you've built it on top of a landmine.
