Album of the Week: The Law Of Large Numbers by Emma Pollock

I hate feeling like I'm trailing behind. Like last week's AOTW, Emma Pollock's The Law Of Large Numbers, is should have been last week's album of the week, and the Quasi record should have been feautured the week before... oh, never mind. I've found that if I delay my reviews a week, they're already streamable on Lala, and I like having some nifty multimedia to go along with my review.

Okay, enough stalling. There's a method to my madness, actually. I hate having nothing more to say about a record than "It's lovely." Even if it is. The Law of Large Numbers is a pretty record, in a haunting sort of way. I suspect it is a "grower;" the listener being rewarded with multiple plays.
