My jr. high school bedroom had the same decor as DJ Tanner's, or to be more specific, shared a mural of George Michael, fresh from his stint in Wham!, bearded, leather jacketed, and perched on motorcycle.
"A Different Corner" was sort of a halfway-point between his Wham! days, and the more introspective sound of his later records. Although I abandoned George Michael in lieu of punk rock in high school. I still think this counts among some of his best work.
